Linguistics and Literature: Italian
The Italian Bachelor and Master curriculum at Ghent University offers a vibrant environment which has been constantly growing in the last years. All the professors are native speakers with an Italian background as well as a broad international experience in teaching and research. We expose the student to an intense learning experience both here and in Italy with a plurality of activities.
We look for and welcome young collaborators from Italian universities through the Erasmus program who can work with us in a very friendly atmosphere, combining their study here with a professional experience as tutors in the Italian Bachelor 1-3 courses.
The Italian section follows several research lines, both in literature and linguistics, which are reflected in the researchers’ publications and the different doctoral (including also joint PhDs) and postdoctoral researchers who work with us in one of the most attractive European hubs for the Italian Studies.
